Ashtanga Yoga – Hatha Yoga in Gothenburg
Asana is not a form of yoga, it is a word in sanskrit meaning body postures making the body and the mind healthy and strong. The forms of yoga we train at Asana Yoga Center in Gothenburg – Linne are Ashtanga yoga and Hatha yoga.
This form of yoga is considered the most physically challenging of all forms of yoga and gives strength, stamina and flexibility. Ashtanga yoga is performed in series of postures in a powerful and fast pace.
Classic Hatha Yoga
This form of yoga is done in a slower pace and you stand longer in each position. Hatha yoga is more harmonious and relaxing and develops flexibilty in a similar manner as Ashtanga yoga.
